Instructions

  1. Prep the Brisket:
    Cut brisket into four equal chunks (~2 inches thick). Season with salt, pepper, and ancho chile powder.

  2. Load the Instant Pot:
    Place seasoned brisket pieces in Instant Pot, loosely layered for steam circulation.

  3. Add Cooking Liquid:
    Pour in water and Worcestershire sauce. Liquid should reach the base of the meat without submerging it.

  4. Pressure Cook:
    Seal the lid and cook on High Pressure for 60 minutes. Allow Natural Pressure Release for 15 minutes before opening the lid.

  5. Slice and Serve:
    Transfer brisket to a cutting board. Rest a few minutes, then slice against the grain. Serve with strained sauce or toppings.
